Showy Milkweed (Asclepias speciosa) is a stunning native milkweed with rose-colored blooms in spherical clusters. Growing about 1 to 3 feet tall, this perennial loves sun and a bit more moisture than other native flowers. Milkweed is an important host plant for Monarch butterflies and provides nectar to many other native pollinator species. Direct sow outdoors in late Fall / early Winter. Seeds need cold stratification to germinate. Minimum 1/4 tsp of seeds included.
