I’m on a mission to create edible gardens across Northern Arizona.
Even though we have mild summers in Flagstaff, people can get frustrated with our short growing season, huge temperature swings, and poor soil.
Elevated Gardening’s three-step edible garden process removes the frustration out of high-elevation gardening and makes it possible for anyone to successfully grow food in Northern Arizona.
About Me
My deep passion for gardening began when I started a free community garden in Kansas. Cultivating relationships with food, land, and our precious pollinators stems from knowing how to grow your own food. I want to share my love of gardening by helping people create edible gardens everywhere. I believe gardens will improve our sustainability, environmental footprint, and food sovereignty for both humans and pollinators.
My Family
My husband Grey and I have a shared love for nature. I became an environmental specialist and he went into the academic world of entomology. Together, we make a great team that grows food for us and pollinators, and he’s able to identify any insect that ails my clients’ gardens. We also have four very special cats that fill our lives with joy and fun.
