Native Purple Prairie Clover (Dalea purpurea)

$4.00

Purple Prarie Clover (Dalea purpurea) is a perennial in the Fabaceae family with an elongated flower head and beautifully bright purple blooms. It has a wide native range mainly from the Rockies to the Midwest and portions of the Southern US.

It's very drought tolerant and a wonderful pollinator plant for butterflies and bees. Plants grow 1-3' tall and have the added bonus of fixing nitrogen in your soil, which increases soil fertility (hello pea family!). Plant in Spring to early Summer. Minimum 1/2 tsp of seeds included.
