Purple Locoweed (Oxytropis lambertii) is a sun-loving, low-water perennial with bright purple/pink "pea flowers." A member of the pea family, its foliage is a silvery green and it fixes nitrogen in the soil. Direct sow in early Spring, planting the seed just below the surface of the soil. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination. Minimum 1/8 tsp included.
